Book It! (Pizza Hut)

Monthly Goals:  K4-1st - 480 Minutes           2nd-4th - 600 Minutes             5th-6th - 720 Minutes

K-4 - 1st Grade Book It! form for March

2nd - 6th Grade Book It! form for March

Book It! finishes at the end of March.

Muddy Buddy Book Club (Carolina Mudcats)

Program finishes at the end of February.  Students can achieve one of two levels.

Level 1 (Readers earn free individual admission to Sunday through Thursday games AND free admission to two games that will be specially designated as Muddy the Mudcat's Muddy Buddy Book Club Nights.)

Reading goals (5-month totals): K4-1st 2,000 mins.      2nd-4th 3,000 mins.       5th-6th 3,600 mins.

Level 2 (In addition to the rewards for level 1, readers will be able to bring up to five family members at no extra cost to the two specially designated games.)

Reading goals (5-month totals): K4-1st 2,500 mins.      2nd-4th 3,750 mins.       5th-6th 5,000 mins.

AR Reward Program

Red Bead = 1 point                White Bead = 5 points           Blue Bead = Challenge

Students turn in wristbands the last school-day of each month for bead-count updates.

Current Challenges:

3rd Grade:  (February 16 - March 16)  Read and test on one book from the following series in the WCS AR library:

Three Cousins Detective Club by Elspeth Campbell Murphy    

Secret Agent Dingledorf and His Trusty Dog Splat by Bill Myers

Janette Oke's Animal Friends

4th Grade: (February 16 - March 9) Read and test on books from the following authors in the WCS AR library:

Dave and Neta Jackson (Trailblazer Series)                      Sigmund Brouwer (4th-5th level)

5th Grade: (February 16 - March 9) Read and test on books by the following authors in the WCS AR library:

Jerry Jenkins and Chris Fabry (Red Rock Mysteries)

Sigmund Brouwer; Lois Gladys Leppard, Catherine Farnes, Frank Peretti, Paul Hutchens.

6th Grade: (February 16 - March 16) Read and test on a book by the following authors:

Dave and Neta Jackson (5th and 6th AR Level)                Elizabeth Yates (6th AR Level)

Challenge participants receive a blue bead plus double points for their challenge quiz.
